Jing-si Hall represents the unspoken Tzu Chi spirit. The three layers of gabled roofs made of copper tiles, represent the three jewels of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha in Buddhism. Eight pillars on the front platform of the building means the Noble Eightfold Path in true nature.
The graceful symmetry of the gabled roofs delivers the belief of “Kindness, Compassion, Joy, and Unselfish Giving”. The sublime, substantial and sparse granite walls show the beauty of architecture.
